Endangered Breeds Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 for the purpose of preserving the American Pit Bull Terrier. Join us in our goals for public education, media monitoring, legislative lobbying, and legal intervention to protect responsible owners from breed-specific legislation and unfair harassment by public officials or agencies.

What We Do?

We’re On A Mission to
Solve Problems

Please Donate For Help

Protect

We will oppose anti-tethering laws that restrict time limits and encourage tethering laws that ensure the animal has proper shelter, food, water, and unencumbered freedom to move. We strenuously oppose the use of any breed of dog for any illegal activity.

Lobby

we lobby against unconstitutional and breed specific ordinances at the municipal, state, and federal levels.  We are founded in the American Pit Bull Terrier who was targeted the most with this type of legislation.

Educate

We are committed to educate owners in the responsible ownership of all breeds of dogs.  Setting yourself and your dogs up to be successful is of the utmost importance.  Each breed of dog is bred for a purpose.

How Can You Help?

Your donation will help us save and improve lives with research, education and emergency care.

Our Vision

Endangered Breeds Association is dedicated to the responsible ownership of all breeds of dogs. We do not tolerate, nor endorse, anyone who knowingly keeps dangerous dogs of any breed.
